Hamid Rahimi Baferani was Born in 1965 in Iran / Tehran and graduated from Tehran University of Art. He began teaching in 1989 as a professor at the Art Universities.
Initially, Hamid Rahimi Baferani major artistic work was summarized in graphic design and photography exhibitions, and in 2009 he was awarded the Excellence emblem in Visual Arts by the Iranian Presidential Office.
In 2012, the artist received a cultural scholarship from the Cultural Section of the French Embassy in Tehran and held his first photo exhibition while traveling to France.
And now he is a member of the International residency of Artists in Paris (Cite des Art).
Most of his work in recent years has been based on the art of sculpture, which has led to numerous solo exhibitions and participation in various group exhibitions.
His artwork has also been auctioned at prestigious auctions, and virtuosos have greatly appreciated his work.
He is now one of the most focused artists in the field of modern sculpture in Iran.
