Setareh Hosseini is a visual artist based in Tehran, Iran. She completed a Masters of Illustration in 2005 at the Faculty of Art and Architecture. She was touched by her mother’s Art classes as a kid. Music and painting was the atmosphere of their house. So she got her B.A. in Graphic design and M.A. in Illustration to continue the passion of her.
She tried to find a way between different art forms that she has known to express herself, from Illustration and Painting to Photography and Video Art and Installation. So, there is dynamic exchange between what she does and Contemporary art.
Diversity, Integration, Local, International and Human relation with community or Sexuality, Plants and Environment are main thoughts of her Artworks. Her Paintings, Photographs and Video Arts have been exhibited at internationally galleries and Spaces including The Counihan Gallery in Australia, Fornaresio Art Gallery in Italy, Powerlong Art Center in China, Peephole Cinema in U.S.A, The 8th Geumgang Nature Art Biennale in Korea. Hosseini has also curated some Exhibition.
