My name is Horiya Hashemi. Member of Iranian painters,bachlor of art,painting,I live in Tehran. I have been painting for about 23 years.and “I try to use my physical body as the main subject in the work, in order to mutually depict the intellectual space and the impact of society on my mentality in combination with the work space and other elements that I use. The use of pieces and parts left from the body in some works shows me the disjointed soul and spirit of the contemporary Human, who gets used to loneliness more and more and becomes more isolated. Contemporary life and the forced identity of Human in the context in which he is born and grows is one of my most important concerns. The form of the human hand in the works on a flat and two-dimensional background, or the deliberate combination of figurative forms in sharp contrast with an abstract space, is an attempt to visualize and show a kind of spiritual unity, which, in my opinion, is the only human solution to avoid mental isolation and seek refuge in peace and harmony. It is internal.

I embarked on a quest,
But,
I found neither what brings salvation, nor spoke of what doesn't fear, I didn't do what doesn't slip, and I wasn't what...

I was neither this nor that,
I was the incomplete wholeness in the world
