Biography


Painter and calligrapher, Khalil Kuiki was born in 1965 in Kermanshah.
He is a M.A graduate from Tehran University of Art and holds an art license from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and also a calligraphy license.
He currently is the head of graphic and painting department at Shariati University and teaches in these fields at Tehran University of Art and many other higher education institutes. He is the member of the Institute of Visual Arts, Iranian Calligraphers' Association and also The Painters' Association as well as The Commission of Textbook Authors.
He was a jury member for many festivals and artistic competition like Students' Technical and Vocational Festival across the country at 2010, National Typography Festival of Imam Reza at 2012 and 2013 and also Khwarizmi International Award Festival.
