The clock as a symbol of time, along with Ferdowsi's Shahnameh, shows a contrast with today's smoky city and life. On the other hand, the Shahnameh book, vase and old clock, all three are familiar and desirable signs that, with the memory of the past and our identity, lead to a kind of resilience in the present life. Also, time in another work by placing a crow on the clock next to the bullet and war symbols expresses another interpretation of time because these elements on the carpet motifs are still associated with the emphasis on identity and culture.
