The Fences This collection adopts an expressionistic and minimal outlook at the concept of fence, not as merely a physical object but as a dividing line between two worlds, the world of the one standing at one side against the world of another one standing on the other side. Fences here take on a new meaning as a barricade securing someone's solitude or an object of hope for a long-lost wanderer, or merely some erratic lines on a hill.
