Saeed Ahmadzadeh, a contemporary painter, was born in Tehran. His interest in painting was formed in childhood. After finishing high school, he entered the Faculty of Art and Architecture in Tehran in 2002 and studied painting. He pursued painting professionally from this period and held numerous exhibitions inside and outside the country. In 2009, he exhibited his works for the first time in Artemis Karaj Gallery. The same year, his solo exhibition was held at Dey Gallery in Tehran. And in 2010, another solo exhibition of his works was held at the International Arts Center in Paris. Ahmadzadeh also worked in fields such as book illustration, wall painting, and writing reviews for art magazines. In 2006, he went to Tarbiat Modarres University for graduate studies and, at the same time, participated in the National Biennial of Painting and won the award of this event, and also won the residency award from Cité France. After graduating with a master's degree in painting, he started teaching in various faculties, including Soureh, and taught art to students in visual communication, painting, and cinema. In 2011 and 2012, his works were sold at the Christie's Dubai auction, which added to this young painter's prestige and fame.
Ahmadzadeh has a representational approach to painting. Many decorative arts can also be seen in the way of finishing and his selected motifs, which sometimes have a sarcastic and critical tone. Women play a central role in these works. Most of these women, individually or in groups, are placed in dramatic poses on a dark background, and sometimes language combinations such as "Made in Iran" are added to the corners of these frames. Ahmadzadeh says about his works: "Most of my works include single figures that are formed with graphic marks on the surface of the canvas and as an independent layer to express a deep relationship between fashion, unusual positions and emphasizing advertising features." In the latest collection of Expectrum, he uses the human skull as the subject, and by repeating this motif and using bright colors, he creates an atmosphere similar to pop art.
